CAL STATE D.C. STUDENT SCHOLARSHIPS
by Cal State Fullerton

As many of you know, Raisa and I participated in the Cal State D.C. internship program in 2006, the first year of its existence. The program afforded me the opportunity to intern in a congressional office that summer, which eventually led to a full-time job in the same office the following year. I was fortunate to receive a very generous scholarship from the program that year, which helped pay for my room & board, flight, and classes. Without it, I almost certainly would not have been able to afford a summer-long, no-pay internship. Since I participated in the program, Cal State D.C. has hosted approximately 300 students. As the program grows, more students are in need of scholarships to finance their trip to, and time in, D.C. I hope you will consider giving something to this great cause--even a gift as small as $5 would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for considering giving to a program that means so much to me and the many others who have benefited from it over the years.
